Giving Back to My Community

Donating photo sessions to local nonprofit organizations in south central Wisconsin: A win-win-for everyone.

As a photographer, I have a unique opportunity to use my skills and talents to give back to my community. One way I do this is to donate photo sessions to nonprofit organizations. This gives me the chance to share my love of photography with people involved with these organizations. It becomes a win-win for everyone involved.

I usually work with local PTOs and schools to donate sessions towards fundraising events so that they can support their teachers and staff with the funds raised. But I’ve also donated to a silent auction benefiting the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.

Donating photo sessions is a great way to:

  • Raise awareness for the organization’s mission.
  • Attract new donors and volunteers.
  • Create lasting memories for the families served by the organization. I am always hopeful that my work can provide families with lasting memories. This can be especially meaningful for families who are going through difficult times.

Donating photo sessions to nonprofit organizations is a great way to make a difference in your community and to use your skills and talents to help others. If you are looking for donations for your organization, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your favorite photographer or service provider. If you’re a photographer, I encourage you to consider donating a photo session to your favorite nonprofit organization today.

The following session was a gift certificate I donated to Glacier Edge Elementary PTO for their annual silent auction.
